PKM GT ini berisi gagasan tertulis. Dulu PKMGT merupakan Karya Tulis Mahasiswa (KTM) yang berisi ide gagasan baru berkaitan dengan masalah dan fenomena di masyarakat. Isi dari PKMGT adalah berupa ANALISIS SINTESIS dari masalah yang sudah dirumuskan didalamnya. Ditulis dengan rincian per bab sebagai berikut:
BAB 1 berisi Pendahuluan, BAB 2 berisi GAGASAN dan BAB 3 KESIMPULAN
Inti dari tulisan adalah di Bab 2 yaitu Gagasan yang berisi sebagai berikut:
- Kondisi kekinian pencetus gagasan (diperoleh dari bahan bacaan, wawncara, observasi, imajinasi yang relevan
- Solusi yang pernah ditawarkan atau diterapkan sebelumnya untuk memperbaiki kedaan pencetus gagasan.
- Seberapa jauh kondisi kekinian pencetus gagasan dapat diperbaiki melalui gagasan yang diajukan.
- Pihak-pihak yang dipertimbangkan dapat membantu mengimplementasikan gagasan dan uraian peran atau konstribusi masing-masing.
Merupakan tulisan berupa artikel ilmiah hasil dari kegiatan yang dilakukan oleh mahasiswa. Kegiatan yang bisa ditulis dalam PKM AI seperti kegiatan dibawah ini:
- Hasil PKM Penelitian
- Hasil PKM Teknologi
- Hasil PKM Pengabdian Masyarakat
- Hasil PKM Kewirausahaan
- Hasil dari kegiatan Organisasi
- Hasil dari keterlibatan dalam kegiatan kampus dll
PKMGT akan diseleksi dan bermuara di PIMNAS, sedangkan PKMAI tidak di PIMNAS tetapi akan dimasukkan dalam jurnal PIMNAS.
